This album was released when disco was in full bloom. Glenn Hughes sings the heck out of these songs in arrangements that were meant to be danced to. Al Kooper and Jeff Baxter knew exactly what they were doing and for what it is, it’s a terrific album. I personally love when known songs are given different arrangements that present them in a fresh way. When it works it’s cool.
