I HEARD THIS SONG ONE TIME WHEN I WAS ABOUT 10. It should have been a monster hit, but Motown was in transition and so were the temp.so it didn’t get the attention that it should. But I remember the son from that one time. I never heard it again , and I didn’t know who sang it, but I suspected it was the temps.so for over 40 yrs I would ask people if they knew th song, or she very heard it, all I ever got was a resounding NO!
But don’t kept looking, because I know what I heard…and I’m stubborn that way.
And one day I was in a record store and found a moutown rarities compilations disc, and it was on there!! Eureka!! I knew if I kept looking I would find it, and I play it for everyone, because it’s absolutely beautiful.

Hello Cedric. I read that also during this time the DJs were unofficially boycotting Motown because a Motown executive did not thank the DJs when the Temptations won an American Music award that year. Therefore, this song did not receive the air play that it should have.
