Talk to Me is the debut solo album by Mark Jefferis, released in 1994
Mark Jefferis (born 4 November 1960 in the United Kingdom ). Mark lived at the TXT time in Frankfurt am Main . He is a native Englishman and has worked as a studio musician and singer in London at least until his collaboration with Markus Mörl. After the end of TXT, he recorded a cover version of the classic disciple “Born To Be Alive” by Patrick Hernandez as a single, but remained commercially unsuccessful and his only solo release to date.

This one of those hidden gem albums, to me at least. The musicianship cannot be beat with likes of Simon Phillips, Ray Russell and Mo Foster on board. My wife and I have listened to this recording for many, many hours while traveling. Once it starts it will play through state after state, hour after hour. The track ‘Hand Of God’ is our favorite that often times be repeated four or five times in a row before listening to the rest of the tracks.
