1983 Rita Lee & Roberto – BomBom
BomBom is an album released by singer and composer Rita Lee and Roberto de Carvalho in 1983. The album features one of Rita’s most famous songs, “Desculpe O Auê”, and pop rock “On the Rocks”. The songs “Arrombou o Cofre”, that spoke about the scandals of the politician Paulo Maluf in the Luftfalla Case, and “Degustação” suffered censorship, being prohibited its public execution and radio diffusion. The album was also the only one of Rita’s to have sale prohibited for minors of 18 years.
The album was recorded and mixed in Los Angeles, and featured international musicians including Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, members of the American band Toto.
