Chopyn was an English AOR group comprising the melliflous vocals of Ann Odell and the considered guitar of Ray Russell,
In 1974 keyboardist Ann Odelle (Blue Mink, Roxy Music) asked Ray to join forces with Simon Phillips, Denny McCaffrey and Klyde McMullin to form “Chopyn” and although short lived with one album for Jet Records, (JETLP008) they toured extensively. This was the only album they released and they split after having management problems.
