In 1998 a singer like no other left this world, but not our hearts. Warren Wiebe wasn’t just gifted with the most gorgeous voice imaginable. He had that essential ingredient which makes a singer unique: soul. Almost everyone who worked with him has a story to tell about the captivating talent that he possessed. A one-of-a-kind singer with a tone and technique that was nothing short of exceptional, despite not ever having received a vocal Lesson. He truly made a major impact on many people’s lives, including mine. Today, with the help of all the artists involved in this compilation, Contante & Sonante is happy and proud to release a very special tribute to a man that left us way too soon, and to keep contributing in some small way towards keeping his memory alive.
