Lisa Bade
Lisa Bade first appeared singing backup vocals on Mark Gillespie’s 1980 album Only Human. Her debut single, “Traveller in the Night/Stormy Red,” was a cover of a Gillespie tune and her debut album, Suspicion, followed in 1982. It produced the singles “(That Ain’t) No Way to Treat a Lady / Losin’ Feelin” and “Willow / Pile Up on the Highway.” the Lisa Bade Band supported the Little River Band at the end of 1982.
Her next single, “Walk Away / Never Looked So Good,” followed in 1985 and Bade went on to sing with Wilbur Wilde’s Blowout, the Mark Gillespie Band, and Pink Cadillac. She also formed the Love Stars, a popular cover band.
