Sam Riney
Sam Riney is an American jazz multi-instrumentalist. Among other things, he plays the saxophone. He is best known for his work as a studio musician, but has also made some albums as a solo artist. He lives in Los Angeles. Riney played on albums by Robby Krieger (of The Doors fame ), David Benoi , Barry Manilow, Peter White, Al Stewart, Herbie Hancock and Peter Frampton, among others. In the early 2000s he formed the group Polychrome with Bob Leatherbarrow (vibraphone), John Chiodini (guitar), Paul Moran (bass guitar) and Kendall Kay (drums).
