1979 Wilson Brothers – Another Night
Steve and Kelly Wilson (Brothers) had the chance to release a single album entitled “Another Night” as Wilson Bros in 1979, produced by Kyle Lehning, who is known for his production work with the British Dan Seals and John Ford Corey, as a result of the line, “If The World Ran Out Of Love”, written by Wilson Bros. They were recorded by the British Dan Seals & amp; John Ford Corey and ranked Top 10 on the country chart. Actually, it is not a country album. This album easily shows that we should use the word “AOR” instead of “Westcoast Music”, commonly used in Europe for this kind of music because of the following reasons: Steve and Kelly Wilson were born in Michigan and raised in Arkansas.
The sessions of the main recording this album was not made in Los Angeles, but in Nashville. Steve Lukather is the only player from the westcoast.
Although the two facts above, this album has almost everything essential to our music. With beautiful melodies sophisticated Vocal Harmony, Blue-Eyed Soul Flavor. Moreover, this album features a cover of the song “Can We Still Be Friends” by Todd Rundgren.
