It was recorded and mixed in Los Angeles by engineer Al Schmitt. The album sold around 300,000 copies in France and was awarded a double gold disc in 1993.
The song Arthur is a tribute to singer Arthur Simms , one of the singers of Michel Jonasz who died in 1987 from the consequences of AIDS .
