1978 Colin Blunstone – Never Even Thought
Never Even Thought is a studio album by Colin Blunstone. It was his second album that he recorded for Rocket Records, the record label of Elton John (in the United Kingdom it was sold by Epic Records ). The career of Blunstone was at the time in the doldrums. The successes of The Zombies and his first solo albums were no longer met, he had to wait for work at the Alan Parsons Project. He did get Rocket the opportunity to record the album largely in Hollywood (Hollywood Sounds). Additional recordings took place in the Sounds Labs, Studio 55 (both in Hollywood) Trident Studios in London, the orchestral parties in the Abbey Road Studios. The music producer Bill Schnee was in charge of the recordings; he had just finished the album Aja by Steely Dan.
