Priscilla Cooldidge was an american singer, sister of Rita Coolidge (singer); married once to Booker T. Jones (music producer)

She Was Voted for best female vocalist by Billboard Magazine for 2 consecutive years and has recorded with such artists as Bob Dylan, Luther Vandross, and Robbie Robertson. Priscilla wrote songs recorded by sister Rita, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, and Maurice White, among others; with sister Rita and daughter Laura Satterfield, formed trio Walela, whose debut album Walela includes version of “Amazing Grace” sung in Cherokee (1997)
