Singer, guitarist and voiceover artist Denny Brooks began playing music with acclaimed singer/songwriter John Denver in 1964. Denny was a background singer and guitarist for Denver from 1976 to 1986. Moreover, Brooks was a frequent opening act for singer/songwriter Hoyt Axton and sang background vocals on Dory Previn’s 1971 album “Mythical Kings and Iguanas.” (Source)
