Michael Tschuggnall (born March 26, 1982 in Hall in Tyrol) is an Austrian pop singer and scientists.
Tschuggnalls parents are both music teachers, his father led to the fall of 2008, the Anton-Auer-secondary school in Telfs and his mother works as a teacher of German, music and typewriting in the neighboring secondary school Dr. Aloys Weissenbach.
With his own composition “Tears of Happiness”, which he recited accompanying at the piano, he won the 2003 final of the ORF casting show Starmania. Curiously, he was already eliminated in the preliminaries. But since the South Tyrolean finalist Martin Perkmann gave up after the first final round, Michael Tschuggnall could take his place for a voting.
In March 2003 he reached with this single the top of the Austrian charts. In 2004 he was nominated three times for a Amadeus.
