1991 Soundtrack – If Looks Could Kill
If Looks Could Kill (released in the UK as Teen Agent) is a 1991 American action comedy spy film directed by William Dear and stars Richard Grieco.
Denny Diante about the soundtrack, after we asked about Steve Lukather’s session: Yes, Steve played on that track. I became good friends with the members of Toto as Jeff Porcaro(drummer) lived next door to me in LA and of course I worked with them whilst I was at Columbia Records.
Steve came in and carved out the ‘mother lick’ to the song. It was such an enjoyable session doing the main title. Glenn was so ‘hot’ at that time since we came off of the #1 single “She Ain’t Worth it” with Bobby Brown..a record that I also produced…but ‘Luke’ is such a killer player I had the opportunity to sit there and just turn him loose. I was disappointed that the movie was not a huge hit as it is a very clever spoof of the ‘spy’ movies of that time. Next time!
