The song was a regular part of Cooper’s setlist on the ‘Madhouse Rocks Tour’ supporting From the Inside, but despite its success as a single, “How You Gonna See Me Now” has never been performed live since 1980
According David Foster‘s book (Forty Years Making Music), Steve is on this track: ….we had one Top 10 hit, “How You Gonna See Me Now”, with Steve Lukather on guitar. Steve was eighteen at the time, and this was one of his first big breaks, and he did a big, raunchy solo that turned out very well.
