Bernard Grimaldi is a composer of music for film and television and also a singer-songwriter. He began his career by signing several documentary music including Les Gitans de la mer by Raymond Adam and Jean Pierre Janssen and Le Vent des amoureux by Albert Lamorisse.
After composing a large number of commercials, including the series of Gauloise films, the sons of the earth made by David Bailey for the agency Saatchi & Saatchi which were awarded several times. At the same time, Bernard Grimaldi is the author and interpreter of several albums including the very cult “Grimaldi  & Zeiher” with the musicians of Toto, Steely Dan and Michael Franks.
